Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BookWise ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website or enquire about our service. We are the data controller for the information described below and are based in Ireland. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Information you give us: when you request a free trial or demo, we collect your name, mobile number, business name, trade, and (optionally) email address.
• Booking information: if you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your chosen time and the details above.
• Usage and device data: if you accept cookies, we and our analytics/advertising providers collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site (for example, from a Facebook or Instagram ad).

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and set up your free trial.
• To contact you by phone, WhatsApp, or email about your enquiry.
• To measure and improve our advertising and website performance.

Legal bases

We rely on your consent for analytics and advertising cookies, on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries you submit, and on taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract when you ask for a trial.

Cookies and tracking

We only load analytics and advertising cookies after you accept them via our cookie banner. These include:

• Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — measuring the performance of our ads and showing relevant ads. This may share limited data with Meta.

If you decline, these are not loaded. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies for this site.

Who we share data with

We use trusted third-party providers ("data processors") to run BookWise. Your data may be processed by:

• Calendly — call scheduling.
• Make.com — routing your enquiry to us.
• Supabase — secure database storage (EU region).
• Twilio — telephony.
• Meta and Google — advertising and analytics, where consented.

Some providers may transfer data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are relied upon.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the duration of our service plus any period required by law. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@trybookwise.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
